HTC wishes a special mazal tov to FYHS class of 1986 alumnus, Rabbi Moshe and Dahlia Bellows upon receiving the Manhattan Jewish Experience (MJE) Lifetime Alumni Award on their Silver Anniversary on Tuesday, April 2nd in New York. At this event the Mrs. Joan Bellows and the Bellows family dedicated the MJE Shael Bellows Senior Fellowship Program in memory of their late husband/father, Rabbi Shael Bellows z”l.
As described by his son Moshe, Shael z”l was an insightful businessman and philanthropist who exuded grace and humility. He was a convener of people and ideas, an impactful leader, and impeccable orator, who radiating kindness, virtue and acceptance. He was a mentor, confidant, and hero to many.
In particular, Shael z”l, an HTC alumnus made an indelible impact on our Yeshiva through his generosity and longtime work as an HTC Board Member. Our Yeshiva is forever grateful for his dedication. May his memory be for a blessing.
